My Summer Challenge: Online Course #4

Here comes the final online course of my summer challenge: “Digitalization of Intelligent and Integrated Energy Systems.” 🌍

I chose this course because I had recently become curious about how blockchain technology might help address climate and energy challenges. But before I could really understand where blockchain might fit, I realized I first needed to understand how today’s energy systems actually work and where the problems are.

Honestly, this was the hardest course of the four. 🤯 There were definitely parts I did not fully understand, and at times I felt a little lost.

But I’m still really glad I took it.

Even without understanding every detail, the course helped me see the bigger picture: how energy systems are changing, where some of the biggest challenges lie, and why technology could play an important role in what comes next.

Sometimes, understanding the map comes before understanding every road on it. For me, this course felt like that first map.
