I’m really happy to share that my second research paper has officially been published in Curieux Review! 🎉

The paper is titled “The Effect of Global Financial Crisis and COVID-19 Pandemic on Return on Asset: Evidence From Stock Exchange of Thailand.”

For this project, I wanted to understand how two very different global crises—the 2008 Global Financial Crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic—affected the profitability of Thai listed companies. I was especially curious about whether companies responded differently to a financial crisis compared with a crisis that began outside the financial system.

Working on this paper gave me another chance to explore finance beyond what I normally learn in class and look at real companies through actual data. It was a long process, but seeing my second research project finally published makes all the work feel worth it. 😊
