Honored by the World Bank!

Still a little amazed that this happened! 🏆

I received an award at the 2025 Thailand Young Economist Contest from Melinda Good, Division Director for Thailand and Myanmar at the World Bank. Yes, the World Bank!

One of my favorite parts of the experience was getting to talk with economists and other students who were just as curious about economics as I was. It reminded me that economics is much more interesting when it moves beyond graphs and textbooks and becomes a way of understanding problems that actually affect people’s lives.

I left the event with even more questions than I arrived with, which I think is probably a good thing.

Maybe one day, I’ll find myself working on some of those questions with the World Bank. 🌍
