I’m so grateful that I had the chance to be an exchange student at Yamato Seiran High School in Fukuoka, Japan. 🇯🇵

I had visited Japan before, but this experience felt completely different. Instead of seeing the country as a visitor, I got to step into everyday school life, spend time with Japanese students, and experience the culture in a much more personal way.

What I’ll remember most are the small moments: talking between classes, working together, laughing over things that probably did not need translation, and slowly feeling less like a guest.

I met so many wonderful people and came home with memories I know I’ll keep for a long time. More than anything, the experience reminded me how much you can learn about a place when you stop simply observing it and start becoming part of it, even for a little while.

Thank you so much to everyone who made this experience possible. ❤️
